We’re Recruiting – Digital Inclusion Support Worker

The Plymouth Cancer Champions Project is a 3-year project, funded by Macmillan Cancer Support. The project is hosted by Zebra Collective in close collaboration with Age UK Plymouth and the Wolseley Trust Social Prescribing team.

The project will explore community-based approaches to supporting people whose cancer outcomes and experiences are known to be the worst because of the unacceptable barriers they face (such as those living in low-income areas, minoritized communities etc).

An important aspect of the project is addressing digital exclusion in relation to accessing health care and other services. We are therefore seeking a Digital Inclusion Support Worker to work closely with the team, staff in community facing organisations and members of the community.  The appointed candidate will develop opportunities for people to improve their digital skills. You will need experience of working in digital inclusion, and a commitment to asset-based community work.

This part time post (21 hours a week) will be employed by Zebra Collective. The salary is £32,000 pro rata.
